[DIY Projects] Restoration Hardware Knock Off DIY Mirror: Old Mirror Frame

This time it was the turn of Christine who gets inspiration from Restoration Hardware. Through the CD’s Country Living she told us that after moving into a new house, she found a wooden frame in the attic, maybe previously for mirror. This frame is amazing with old-style carving atop. Because there are many other projects, then undone the intention to make use of the frame. Of course she would like to work on another project first.

When she was looking for inspiration for a diy project, she found a great mirror. However, restoration hardware tagged this mirror with a price of $1,200, which made Christine say “no way”. She then switched to take advantage of her old frame as diy project. It’s sure to save costs and it turns out the answer is “Yes”. She just spent $35 for a mirror purchased on local hardware store and double D ring’s for $3.49. Certainly with additional wire for hanging and MINWAX antique brown color to renew the frame’s hue. Finally, the project was completed by not spending more than $100.
